Your dream old school concert

Who would you have loved to see perform - but didn't either because you were too young, or they died before you got a chance to appreciate their music?

I would have love to see Jimi Hendrix perform. My brother-in-law used to love him and Janis Joplin - but I was too young to appreciate him at that time. As I got older I really appreciated his mad guitar skills. Especially when I found out he was a south-paw like myself.

AWESOME choices speakspokey. Otis Redding was sooo cool - my mother used to play him to death. And Issac Hayes had mad skills. My aunt was in love with. I had recently been into getting old black films on DVD and got the Shaft collection - Issac Hayes is all over those CD's. I remember one of his songs was about 10 minutes long. I don't remember if it was I stand accused or another one - but it played forever and was so sweet.

Triple bill:

Marvin Gaye
Michael Jackson
Curtis Mayfield

I would pay any amount of money to see them all together.

For a while there was talk of MJ producing a Vegas show for an extended period of time. Now that I am old enough and in a place where I could afford to go there I was really hoping that would happen. But alas...
